George Matheaus has been a guitarist for over 15 years, building his entire career online. He began his journey in 2020 by creating content on social media and offering guitar lessons, eventually finding his unique sound within the Djent scene. This focus helped him establish a strong musical identity.
In time, George became a mentor in the Modern Metal community and is now recognized as one of the leading figures of the genre in Brazil.
In 2021, he co-created the instrumental track “Eagle of Light” and released the single “Contra” later that same year. By 2023, he launched one of his most significant projects, “Djentship”—an annual series that reimagines various Christian songs in Djent style.
