A highly experienced German singer and guitarist, Oliver Hartmann has built a global reputation through his solo work, long-standing role in Avantasia, and collaborations with numerous iconic rock and metal artists.

Oliver Hartmann, born in 1970 in Frankfurt, Germany, has been regarded for over two decades as an exceptional singer and guitarist in his genre, in high demand worldwide.

In addition to his own band, HARTMANN—which has been among the leading German rock and hard rock acts for many years and has toured with artists such as Toto, Uriah Heep, Edguy, The Hooters, Mother’s Finest, and Y&T—he is also widely known as a long-time member of the metal project Avantasia, with whom he toured globally from 2008 to 2023.

He is also well known as the frontman of the successful German Pink Floyd tribute band PULSE. In addition, he spent many years as a touring musician with Rock Meets Classic, sharing the stage with numerous rock legends including Steve Lukather (Toto), Ian Gillan (Deep Purple), Rick Parfitt (Status Quo), Paul Rodgers (Free, Bad Company, ex-Queen), Jimi Jamison (Survivor), John Wetton (Asia), Mick Box and Bernie Shaw (Uriah Heep), Eric Martin (Mr. Big), Gianna Nannini, and Bonnie Tyler.

As a studio musician and vocalist, he has collaborated with major German radio stations, and his voice can be heard on numerous recordings by international hard rock and metal acts such as Helloween, HammerFall, Kamelot, Edguy, and Rhapsody.
