ARTIST GEAR
Unfound Reliance burst onto the scene with the release of their EP A Layered Mind in 2019, featuring tracks like “Hellbound” and “Cowards & Heroes,” which topped Sweden’s unsigned artist charts on radio station P3 for weeks. The EP explored deep themes of mental illness and the despair it brings to society. Their latest album, We Are The Plague (2021), perfectly blends melodic choruses, brutal growls, and heavy riffs. Drawing inspiration from the Gothenburg sound, Unfound Reliance injects fresh energy into a classic style we all love.
Since forming in 2013, the band has opened for major acts such as melodic death metal pioneers In Flames and the mighty Cannibal Corpse. In 2025, they performed at the massive Sweden Rock Festival and have since begun working on their next album.
Leading that charge is guitarist Patrik Edvinsson, who has joined the Cort artist family and armed himself with the G300 Pro to deliver precision, power, and pure metal energy in the band’s upcoming work.
