Edgar Muzah, a Zimbabwean-born bass player, Mbira player, and music producer based in Port Elizabeth, South Africa, was awarded at the 30th Annual South African Music Awards in 2024 for his work on ‘Son of a Tribe (Royalty Edition).

Mr. Muzah has traveled around the world as a musician on numerous tours with various artists he has collaborated with. He is currently nurturing his first project, ‘Project Dimensions,' which features many of the artists he has written music for, produced, and worked with. Driven by his passion for musical growth and development, he started a program to teach music to children in underprivileged schools and runs a support group for bass players called 2Much Bass.
He also has performed on numerous national and international stages, including the Grahamstown National Arts Festival, Buy’elekhaya Music Fest, Ebubeleni Arts Festival, Splash Festival, Harare International Festival of Arts (HIFA) in Zimbabwe, Bayimba Festival in Uganda, Nelson Mandela Bay Music Festival, and Biltong Festival, among others.
